Why This Guide Exists

Most couples planning a wedding in Mallorca are told what to do.
We prefer to show you how to think about it.

Planning a destination wedding from the UK can feel like a thousand small decisions made in the dark. Hidden costs. Conflicting advice. Suppliers who treat your celebration like a transaction.

This guide approaches it differently. It begins with the very first question most UK couples ask — and walks through the answer with the same care we bring to every wedding we design.

What You Will Find Inside

Three quiet principles
behind every Dybiec wedding.

I

The Curated Preparation

How every detail — from the structure of a silk gown to the rhythm of a welcome dinner — is approached with precision long before the day itself.

II

The Direct, Controlled Journey

How we guide couples through the cross-border passage from the UK to Mallorca — the customs, the logistics, the legal architecture — without it ever touching your peace of mind.

III

The Destination Restoration

What happens once you arrive on the island. Where every element is restored, refined, and quietly prepared for the morning of your celebration.

When you start planning a wedding in Mallorca, one thing becomes clear very quickly — you do not have to figure everything out on your own.

Before You Ask

Quiet answers to early questions.

How early should we start planning a Mallorca wedding?
Most of our couples begin the conversation between twelve and eighteen months before the celebration. This allows time for the legal architecture of the ceremony, the curation of the right venue, and the design of a true multi-day experience. Shorter timelines are possible — though the available venues for premium dates become more limited.
Do we need to visit Mallorca before the wedding?
It is not a requirement. Many of our UK couples design the entire celebration remotely with Magdalena. That said, a short visit four to six months before the wedding is something we often recommend — not for decisions, but for atmosphere.
What languages does Magdalena work in?
Magdalena works fluently in English, German, Spanish (including Mallorquí), and Polish. Every conversation, contract, and supplier briefing is handled in the language most natural to you.
How is Dybiec Wedding different from other planners on the island?
We are a small family-led studio. Magdalena personally leads every wedding — there are no account managers between you and the design of your day. Our husband Jimy curates the music. Urszula designs the florals. Krzysztof handles brand and client relations. One family, one celebration at a time.
Will I have a conversation with Magdalena before deciding anything?
Yes — though only after you have had time to read the guide and orient yourself with the cost calculator. We find that the most meaningful conversations begin once both sides have already done some quiet thinking. When you are ready, the next step appears naturally.
A Final Word

True luxury is the absence of friction.

We do not approach a wedding as an event. We approach it as a masterpiece of personal architecture — designed quietly, lived fully, remembered always.

If this approach speaks to you, the guide is the natural place to begin. Read it slowly. There is no rush.
